Personal Opinions : Even though the white people in this movie has power against the blacks but most of them are uneducated, ignorant and violently racist. They are rich because they got the fortune such as lands and houses from their parents. The white people, especially housewives really controlled their black housemaids. Most of their husbands are always busy with their works and we can say that the housewives are stressed being in their home without company. They scold and mad at their maids in order to feel relieved from distressful situations.
